I was born on a Thursday. A day of the week that in classical astrology was traditionally associated with the king of the planets. Hence the name. This Yule, for the first time in eight hundred years, we’ll see a rare conjunction between my namesake and the planet Saturn. Which incidentally is where the word “Saturday” comes from. Tuesday would presumably be a better day for fighting, because it’s associated with Mars.
